How young people start, plan, track and complete the Award in Nepal.
How to do the Award

1Choose your Award level
Read process +
Select Bronze, Silver or Gold based on your age, readiness and available commitment.
2Find a Local Award Centre
Read process +
Register through a school, institution, juvenile home or approved organisation that delivers the Award.
3Plan your activities
Read process +
Choose activities for Voluntary Service, Physical Recreation, Skills and Adventurous Journey. Gold participants also complete a Residential Project.
4Set goals and track progress
Read process +
Work with mentors to set clear goals and record progress in the Online Record Book (ORB).
5Achieve and celebrate
Read process +
Complete the sections, receive approval and celebrate your achievement with the Award community.
Bronze · Silver · Gold
Level requirements

Bronze
14+ · Usually 6 months. The starting point for young people to build confidence through service, skills, physical recreation and an adventurous journey.

Silver
15+ · Usually 12 months. A deeper challenge for participants ready to extend commitment, independence and leadership.

Gold
16+ · Usually 18 months. The highest level of the Award, combining long-term personal challenge with community impact and leadership.
Award sections
Activities participants must complete
Participants complete regular activity in Skills, Physical Recreation, Voluntary Service and Adventurous Journey. Gold level includes an additional Residential Project lasting at least five days.
Skills
Develop practical, creative or personal skills through regular commitment.
Physical Recreation
Improve health, fitness and wellbeing through a chosen physical activity.
Voluntary Service
Give time to support people, communities and causes that matter.
Adventurous Journey
Plan, train and complete a team journey that builds resilience and teamwork.

Gold Residential Project
Gold participants complete a shared residential experience away from home to build independence and teamwork.
ORB
Online Record Book
After registration, participants use the Online Record Book to log activities, upload evidence, receive mentor feedback and track progress toward completion.
