Mission
To make high-quality non-formal education accessible to young people in Nepal through service, skills, physical recreation and adventurous journeys.
World Ready
A national movement helping young people discover potential, build resilience and become World Ready.
Our Story
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award began in 1956 and has grown into a global non-formal education framework. In Nepal, Saksham Yuwa Nepal delivers the Award as the National Award Operator.
The programme is open to young people aged 14–24. It encourages them to use their time productively, serve their communities, learn skills, improve wellbeing and take part in adventurous journeys.
DoEIA Nepal works with schools, organisations, youth groups and community partners to make the Award accessible to young people from different backgrounds.
