It’s with unimaginable grief that Ted Atkins, the great Award supporter for Nepal passed away on 21st August 2018. Ted was killed while descending a mountain near his home in the Italian Dolomites. A mountain that he had climbed many times before.
As a true engineer, his outlook on life was always to make things better. His contribution to Nepal, especially as a pioneer in the field of mountaineering oxygen systems, is immeasurable. He was always a great motivator for young Nepalese. He had already made a couple of presentation in different schools of Kathmandu Valley.
Ted, You were and are still an inspiration to all, with a heart that radiated love and warmth through all our lives. You will truly be missed and forever remembered.
