Bronze Award Ceremony at Sanskriti International School and Mount View English Boarding School.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award was proud to attend two Bronze Award Ceremony for two Award Centers this month. The Award has grown substantially, we are really encouraged by the effort and commitment shown by Sanskriti International School and Mount View English Boarding School. They have shown tremendous progress in running the Award, the participants have also had an tremendous impact by the Award and it was really an empowering and special moment hearing how the Award had changed their lives and made them World Ready.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, Nepal attended the Bronze Award Ceremony at Sanskriti International School on Thursday August 1st ,2019 in the presence of Astha Thapa (National Chair of DOEIA Nepal), Chandrayan Shrestha (Immediate Past Chair of DOEIA Nepal), Ranjit Acharya (Chairman of the School Board), Dipti Acharya (Director) and Dilip Rana (Principal) as well as other senior members of the school faculty. Parents of awardees and students from Grades 6-10 were also present. As a pioneering group there were 18 Bronze Award participants who received the Award in the ceremony. In the programme, Ranjit Acharya gave an inspiring motivational speech, there were musical and dance performances by the Awardees, the Award presentation itself, and was concluded by congratulatory remarks by Astha Thapa (National Chair). DoEIA Nepal would also like to congratulate all the award volunteers, including assessors and activity coaches of Sanskriti School for helping the students complete their Awards. Sanskriti School has kickstarted the Bronze Award Ceremonies and we are hoping for many more to come!
Mount View English Boarding School Bhaktpur organized its first Bronze Award Ceremony on Saturday August 3rd, 2019 in the presence of chief guest Deputy Mayor of Suryabinayak Municipality Ms Juna Basnet. In the ceremony, participants of Award presented their skills and shared their experience. The program was addressed by Tejendra Prakash Rajbhandari, Executive Board, Nepal; Chandra Adhikari, Principal, Bhaktpur NIST and Surina Gurung, Vice Principal, Galaxy Public School. In Today’s ceremony there were 20 participants who received the Award. DoEIA Nepal would like to congratulate all the Award Recipients of Mount View English Boarding School.
