It’s our pleasure to invite you to our 4th Annual National Award Ceremony on 30th August 2018 to celebrate a record number of young people across Nepal completing a level of the Award at the British Embassy, Lazimpat from 2 to 4 PM.

This year there are approximately 300 young people from 15 schools and organisations across Nepal who have completed their Bronze or Silver Awards, joining the more than 8 million young people around the world to have completed an Award. Each of them have committed to learning new skills, improving their physical health, contributed meaningfully to their community through service, and challenged themselves with an Adventurous Journey in the natural beauty of Nepal.
Each of the participants will receive their Award on stage from His Excellency, Mr Richard C Morris, British Ambassador to Nepal.
The National Award Ceremony will bring these participants together along with their Award Leaders and Award Coordinators – the staff members from their organisations that have helped them through the challenges of the Award; performers from our partner organisations providing entertainment for the day; and Board Members and staff from the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Nepal.
During the ceremony, 2 participants will also share their experience of how the Award has helped them to grow and develop, and open doors for their future that they didn’t even know were there.
